Most Nations Expected to Fall Short of UN Chronic Illness Death Reduction Goals

Public health experts say that more than half of all participating countries are projected to miss the United Nations’ targets for reducing deaths caused by chronic, noncommunicable diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes and chronic respiratory disease.
